Project Phases
Project Phases
Once the initial project setup is complete, we can move through the various phases of the project. This chapter gives an overview of the phases; in subsequent chapters we will cover each of these in more detail.

The phases themselves are divided into three groups:
- Setup Phases: during these phases, work will be undertaken to initiate and define the scope of the project, and to agree on a high level plan for the project.
- Build Phases: these are the phases during the work to prepare the system for launch, and to do any necessary setup and verification of the environment in which the system will run.
- Launch Phases: these phases handle the launch and post-launch activity associated with the project.
